A New Year, A New Beginning?
The new year has begun—a much-needed reset is behind us. Now, three weeks into 2025, resolutions are already fading, and a new administration is settling into the White House. (No judgment—this is a politics-free zone.)
Are you feeling optimistic, doubtful, cautious, or guarded? Are you all in or all out? Does your life look eerily similar to last year? Do the same fears, frustrations, and societal issues keep showing up—misogyny, paranoia, exhaustion from the rat race?
So, the big question is: Will 2025 be your dream-come-true (DCT) year, or will it feel like another cycle of the same old struggles?
Exploring the Possibility of an Unprecedented Future
My mission here is to create space for honest conversations, explore relevant issues, and provide transformational tools. This is a safe place to be candid, raw, and wholehearted. My coaching philosophy is influenced by the Science of Mind, as well as mentors such as Nancy Levin, Amber Vilhauer, Amy Porterfield, and Brené Brown.
There’s a growing conversation suggesting that coaching is becoming the new therapy. Have you noticed this trend? Are coaches leading the way in personal transformation? I’d love to hear your take.
The Trifecta Approach: Golf, Life, and Spirit
For those unfamiliar with my work, my coaching practice integrates Spirit, Mind, and Body—a trifecta of transformation in Golf, Life, and Spirit.
- As an LPGA Coach, I’ve helped thousands improve their golf game, which often leads to a more fulfilling life.
- As a Transformational Life Coach, I guide individuals to break through limiting beliefs and achieve their dreams.
- As a Spiritual Practitioner, I help clients reconnect with their truth and align with their higher selves.
Every day, I help people bridge the gap between what they want and what they think is possible.
Can Personal Transformation Create Lasting Change?
Transformation is possible, but can it happen in just a three-day workshop, a five-day retreat, or a week in an ashram? The answer: It depends.
For centuries, sages, shamans, and thought leaders have guided people through deep personal change. Workshops and seminars can provide clarity and confidence to spark transformation, and many people use January as a launchpad for personal growth.
There’s a saying that everyone should invest in some form of personal development training every year—and I agree. Reading at least one good book a month can also be a game-changer.
The Reality Check: No Quick Fixes
Keeping your mind sharp is not optional—it’s essential for long-term health and well-being. Research shows that meditation can:
- Lower blood pressure
- Increase mindfulness
- Improve cognitive function
What was once considered “woo-woo” is now backed by science. The excuse of “I don’t have time” doesn’t hold up anymore. The truth is, there’s no substitute for doing the work.
While a weeklong retreat can be an incredible reset, lasting change requires consistent effort. Long-term problems aren’t solved with quick-fix solutions. However, an immersive experience can be the first step toward an extraordinary transformation.
